Anna Weidinger is a young professional intern striving for a career in strategic communications. She is currently studying for a degree in communications with specializations in interpersonal communications and mediated communications.
For her internship at Concepts, Anna contributes to the development of the Campaign for Disability Employment (CDE) and the Employer Assistance and Resource Network for Disability Inclusion (EARN). Anna incorporates fresh ideas to enhance Concepts’ presence on social media platforms and the Web. In addition, Anna conducts market research to develop innovative strategies for communications and promotional outreach.
Prior to Concepts, Anna interned at Robotic Vision Technologies where she focused on marketing strategies and public relations, such as competitive analysis and company representation. In addition, Anna is the Community Manager for the American Marketing Association at the University of Illinois. Her responsibilities include social media outreach and collaborating in creative ways to design and strategically release promotional materials. While at school, Anna volunteers at Crisis Nursery, where she provides reliable care as an emergency caregiver to children whose families are in crises.
Anna will graduate in May 2019 from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. At the University of Illinois, Anna is involved in many organizations, such as the Communications Association, the American Marketing Association, and Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
