Caitlin Hochul is an accomplished operations and communications professional with more than eight years of experience working with both government and private sector clientele. Her expertise includes developing and implementing effective streamlined policies, building dynamic teams, creating strategic messaging and organizing public awareness campaigns.
At Concepts, Caitlin serves as the director of communications and client relations and is responsible for managing operations and public engagement, assisting in business development and performing solution-oriented services for clients. In addition, Caitlin provides communications and policy support on a number of contracts sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), including ePolicyWorks, the State Exchange on Employment and Disability (SEED), Retaining Employment and Talent after Injury/Illness Network (RETAIN) demonstration projects, and the Registered Apprenticeship Video program.
Prior to joining Concepts, Caitlin helped manage human resources, recruiting and operations efforts at a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in Northern Virginia. Her private sector experience also includes time spent as a proposal manager with The Buffalo Group, where she focused on defense contracting.
Caitlin began her career in political affairs, starting as a congressional intern for U.S. Representative Brian Higgins. She then took on a formative role as a team leader for a gubernatorial campaign, representing Fredericksburg, Va. and surrounding areas.
Caitlin graduated with a bachelor of arts in international affairs from the University of Mary Washington, where she was involved in the debate team and various social cause related organizations. She also received a certificate from Beijing Language and Culture University for her studies in the Chinese language. Caitlin is currently pursuing a master of business administration from the University of Maryland.
